Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist proficient in both CT and X-ray for a night shift role requiring ARRT eligibility and Iowa licensure.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital diagnostic imaging setting
Night shifts from 21:30 to 07:30, Monday through Thursday
Responsibilities include both CT and X-ray imaging
Uses RIS and PACS systems, with Meditech and McKesson experience preferred
Performs CT and X-ray imaging with minimal supervision
Participates in performance improvement activities and departmental quality monitoring
Position requires empathetic listening, tact, and strong verbal communication
May require willingness to pursue further education or certification
No COVID-19 vaccination required per posting
Requirements
Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
ARRT registered or eligible
Active Iowa Permit to Practice required
Current AHA Heart Code BLS required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
Previous hospital experience preferred
Strong RIS and PACS computer skills required, Meditech and McKesson experience preferred
Effective English communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
License required if applicable
