Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, AART, CT, and BLS certifications to work weekend shifts on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a hospital imaging/CT department

Work schedule is Friday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Weekend shifts are required

Role involves multimodality procedures with at least 25% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT

Experience with Siemens CT equipment is preferred

Epic EMR experience is preferred

Responsibilities include performing high quality multimodality procedures and maintaining production and quality standards

Duties include radiation dose monitoring, proper use of iSTAT point of care testing, and adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols

Must maintain equipment, ensure departmental safety, and assist in training new staff as needed

Professionalism, clear communication with patients, and customer service are essential

Grey scrubs are required

Returning employees are subject to eligibility verification

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience

AART, CT, and BLS certifications required

Active TX license required if applicable

Must provide two professional references for consideration

Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (August–November); no exemptions granted

50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
