Overview

As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and educating young children in a warm and engaging environment. Your passion for early childhood education will shine as you create stimulating activities that promote learning and development. You’ll be responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our little learners!

Several shifts available: 6:15a.m.-1:00p.m., 7:45a.m. - 3:45 p.m., 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m.- 6:15 p.m.

Must be at least 18 years of age, 2 years of Daycare experience is required.

What you’ll do

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration and creativity.

Foster positive relationships with children, helping them build social skills and emotional intelligence.

Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.

Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that supports learning and play.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.

Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide children’s actions.

Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their physical needs are met throughout the day.

Engage with families to build strong partnerships that support children's growth and well-being.

Experience

A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education is crucial.

Assisting with restroom breaks and diapering

Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is highly valued.

First aid certification and CPR training is a plus.

Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior management strategies is important.

Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered an asset.
