Job Title: Electrical Superintendent
Location: Sherman, TX
Pay: $110,000 – $130,000 per year
License Required: Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee a commercial construction project in Sherman, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical work, proven leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of project schedules, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan installation and construction activities
Enforce job site safety policies and procedures
Manage daily field reports, material tracking, and crew schedules
Inspect installations to ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians
Qualifications:
Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
5+ years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
