If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential - whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with operations in 64 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

This role is accountable for supporting Director (GCB3) level hiring globally through sophisticated external and internal talent identification and pipeline development to support current and future search execution.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you will:

+ Conduct global external executive talent research projects to support successful GCB3 search execution and succession planning activity across HSBC.

+ Help future-proof HSBC through the proactive development of internal and external talent pipelines of top-performing and diverse director-level talent, to meet current and future hiring needs.

+ Relentlessly focus on HSBCs internal talent marketplace, gaining and leveraging deep knowledge of HSBC’s talent to help drive internal mobility, opportunity and retention.

+ Develop deep sector knowledge and provide strategic market and talent intelligence to the team and stakeholders on talent and competitor activity and how it relates to the strategic objectives of HSBC.

+ Support the global adoption and effective usage of a new ATS and CRM platform (Eightfold). Align to agreed sourcing methodology, workflows, and KPIs to ensure consistency and quality across regions.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

+ Experience of external talent research/identification and pipeline development and management of senior candidates gained within an in-house TA team, executive search firm or other agency environment.

+ Ability to utilise ATS and CRM systems, getting the best out of the available technology.

+ Strong relationship building skills with senior internal/external candidates and stakeholders.

+ Excellent report and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities. Proven ability to produce high-quality reports and collateral.

+ Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, sometimes ambiguous environment and meet role demands, with strong personal resilience and problem-solving skills.

This role is based in London on a hybrid basis.
