At CESO, a Project Construction Administrator (PCA) shall execute the duties on behalf of the Architect of Record and the Architectural team during the construction of projects to help ensure the Contract Documents are implemented correctly by the Contractor. Overall, the PCA will be a representative of CESO in all construction-related communications with the Contractor and be the Client’s representative throughout the entire course of construction activity. Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate with both internal and external project team members and consultants to complete shop drawing reviews, provide RFI responses, construction observations and reports, punch lists, final site square footage analysis, warranty site walks, pay application reviews, and other necessary tasks associated with the Architect’s contractual responsibilities during construction.
Represent CESO and the Architect of Record during construction client meetings, site visits etc. and report updates, findings and observations to the project team and other stakeholders.
Have the ability and willingness to travel as project schedules dictate.
Work with the Project Manager and the project team to provide feedback on issues arising during construction that could improve document quality and constructability.
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, working to ensure Client, and/or Contractor, established turnaround times and schedules are met.
Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience assisting with managing of projects, or managing projects directly in a design and construction related field is required.
Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) is preferred.
OSHA 10/30 is preferred.
Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and/or Revit, MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid and Newforma.
