We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our boutique firm in Miami, Florida. Our practice focuses on bankruptcy, corporate reorganization, and complex commercial litigation, offering the opportunity to work on challenging cases and develop expertise across multiple areas. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in bankruptcy or commercial litigation, with a preference for candidates experienced in both. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with partners and team members on business restructuring, insolvency, and litigation cases.

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other court documents.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including contested hearings and depositions.

• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and work quality remains high.

• Take initiative in leading aspects of complex cases, contributing to strategy development and case resolution.

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and advice tailored to their needs.

• Participate in trial teams, contributing to case preparation and courtroom advocacy.

• Maintain strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Stay updated on bankruptcy and litigation laws to ensure compliance and provide informed counsel.

• Mentor associates at the beginning of their careers and contribute to the collaborative team environment.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bankruptcy/reorganization or complex commercial litigation.

• Strong understanding of bankruptcy and reorganization laws, with a willingness to learn if lacking direct experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

• Prior experience appearing in court, handling contested hearings, or taking and defending depositions is preferred.

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and colleague interactions.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
