Performing all required field/office survey functions and associated technical design support involved with mining operations.

Including but not limited to: * Prospect and drill hole locations * Keeps surface maps current, which includes updating elevations, Etc.

* May provide guidance and direction to field survey crews.

* Operates standard surveying equipment, such as levels and measuring devices.

* May prepare routine reports such as reclamation, royalty, number of drill holes in the field and impoundment reports on a weekly/monthly basis, as well as quarterly estimates of coal production.
