The Optimizer is responsible for safe and efficient, daily operations of our natural gas system.
Responsibilities
Travel to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e. gauges, fluids, pressures, production, etc., in an accurate and consistent manner).
Inspect locations for any leaks, spills, and recognize any potential issues. Contact immediate supervisor with any relevant issues, or significant production loss in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot, repair and correct issues as necessary.
Record and process all paper work, inspections, time cards, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Diagnosis of problems with artificial lift.
Operation of Echometer and interpretation of results.
Analysis of plunger run times and changes to settings.
Analysis of gas lift performance.
Optimization of all forms of artificial lift to result in more production and longer run time.
Setup and commissioning of new artificial lift installations.
Supervise slick line units.
Participate in well reviews and execution plan.
Take action to optimize oil and gas production on each well, look for wells that are below MBX average.
Mentor others to help them be more proficient at their position.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Lease Operator position
Competent with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools.
Must have valid driver's license.

Physical Demands and Exposures
Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to individually lift: Maximum 100 lbs.
Possible exposures to gas/ liquid hydrocarbons and salt water.
