Student - Staff Assistant Marching Band Summer Clinic
Student Staff Assistants assist camp directors with music rehearsals, group work, and sectional coaching. These students also help with attendance, student movement (in the School of Music and across campus). They perform on evening recitals, coach small ensembles, and complete other duties as required by the camp director.
Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, instructors, and community partners; knowledge of music education pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment.
The School of Music, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks Youth Summer Music Programs (YSMP) Staff Assistants to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. Each summer, we welcome hundreds of student musicians to campus where they participate in programs specifically designed to further their skills, understanding of and love for music. Our dedicated faculty craft diverse and rich activities that provide each student with a meaningful musical experience.
