**About the Role**
As CBRE GWS Local FM Head of Procurement/Procurement Director you will be part of the leadership team in Italy. This role will oversee the function and be responsible for implementing CBRE GWS's industry leading Supplier Relationship Management framework across the Country so that CBRE is seen as a customer of choice in the marketplace, delivering results by meeting the business financial objectives, growth, and retention strategies.
**What you’ll do**
+ Lead the negotiation and development of supplier contracts that meet the company's goals and objectives and are recognised for delivering best value and high-quality Service delivery to CBRE and its customers.
+ Work collaboratively with the business and the supply partners to drive value for both parties, resulting in lower costs, reduced risk, greater efficiency, better quality, and innovation.
+ Manage Key Supplier relationships throughout negotiation, implementation and conduct systematic joint value-discovery efforts.
+ Design and implement supplier events to enhance and embed our relationship driven approach.
+ Develop learning and development intervention for the business managers to understand and adopt best practice to ensure our relationship driven approach is consistent across the Country.
+ Ensure absolute alignment between the divisional leadership, client account obligations, partner platforms & the entire Procurement organisation.
+ Drive procurement optimisation and efficiencies through the business in line with regional initiatives, including a review of existing practices and offer tactical advice to develop a structure (formulate short and mid-term planning) based on divisional market knowledge in support of overall sourcing strategy set by global and regional Procurement
+ Maximize commercial benefits for GWS, achieving the divisional/regional objectives, in terms of savings, rebates, process improvements, preferred supplier development, working capital.
+ Review existing supplier base in line with business needs / align to Global / Regional category design to optimize leverage.
+ Own, maintain and continuously improve supplier performance measurement processes and the region procurement processes in line with Global / Regional initiatives
+ Ensures that the supply chain is safe, sustainable, and appropriately accredited and establish the appropriate mechanisms for continual risk management and performance improvement of the supply chain
+ Develop contractual arrangements with preferred suppliers that are recognised for delivering best value and high-quality service delivery to CBRE GWS and its customers
+ Develop and maintain relationships at the highest levels internally and within preferred supplier organisations
**What you’ll need**
+ Good general standard of education with a procurement qualification an advantage
+ Procurement experience gained in facilities management or in a Projects/Engineering company will be preferred along with experience of working in an international environment/matrix structure.
+ Proven capability in leading large-scale change initiatives and embedding new organisations and new ways of working
+ Fluent spoken & written Italian & English is essential for this role due to the level of interaction and collaboration with local suppliers and customers
+ Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of identifying and delivering substantial cost savings with the ability to demonstrate the value of procurement to the business
+ Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence with knowledge of Supplier performance improvement tools & techniques
+ A leader with Strong interpersonal skills with gravitas and ability to build good relationship
+ Ability to own and drive senior level negotiations both internally and externally with suppliers
+ Energetic, Positive, and strong communicator
+ Results orientated and focused
+ Proven capability of effectively organising, motivating, and developing people in a complex, matrix-managed organisation
+ Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision making
+ Able to plan and manage multiple work programmes effectively
