Your area of work:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Automation Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in low-code automation platforms and RPA more generally. Prior experience with these tools is a plus but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the intersection of technology and financial services.

Your responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior engineers, business analysts and subject matter experts to design, develop, deploy and maintain automation solutions using low-code / RPA platforms (e.g. Mendix, Power Automate, etc.).

Assist in automating and optimizing post-trade processes, including trade matching, settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated workflows and support ongoing maintenance of automation solutions.

Contribute to the integration of automation solutions with existing systems and data sources, leveraging APIs and data management tools.

Maintain clear and detailed documentation of business processes, automation logic, and technical specifications.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Excellent level or written and spoken English.

At least 1 year of experience in SW development.

Understanding of programming concepts (e.g., logic, variables, data structures).

Familiarity with or willingness to learn low-code development environments (Mendix, Power Automate, etc.).

Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and code testing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes into automated workflows.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Would be an advantage:

Familiarity with cloud technologies and experience with OpenShift or similar.

Exposure to post-trade operations, capital markets, or financial services technology.

Experience with database management, API integration, or data analytics tools.
