Sr. Officer/Engineer - Corporate ME and Projects (KOEL)
Experience Level: 5 to 10 Years
This is a senior technical project management role responsible for the full lifecycle delivery (design through installation) of advanced assembly and manufacturing systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities (Functions)
Turnkey Project Management: Coordinate the design, manufacturing, procurement, and installation of specialized assembly equipment, including conveyors, sub-assembly stations, assembly tools, tightening equipment, FIFO racks, and leak testing machines.
System Commissioning: Lead the development and successful commissioning of custom machinery, such as engine leak test machines, cylinder head sub-assembly machines, and Poka-Yoke (mistake-proofing) systems.
Project Control: Manage all financial and timeline aspects, including scheduling, budgeting, and capitalization for major projects.
Process Compliance & Design: Drive Integrated Product & Process Development (IPPD), ensure adherence to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, and create key documentation (SOPs and Process Flow Diagrams).
Essential Skills & Competencies
Automation & System Expertise: High proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and ECU (Engine Control Unit) systems.
System Integration: Strong knowledge of how to integrate diverse machines and controls into a seamless assembly line.
Quality Planning: Expertise in Design & Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Documentation: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.
Financial & Planning: Demonstrated experience in managing project finances, schedules, and capitalization.
