Systems Administrator III – Downtown Columbus, Ohio
The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is seeking a Systems Administrator III to join our Platform Support team. If you have a passion for server planning, designing, managing, and partnering with IT Security. To keep our IT data and systems secure while getting to research new ideas and technologies, we may have the right role for you!

What you’ll bring
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field with at least 4 years of server and systems administration experience OR a high school diploma/GED along with at least 10 years of experience
Must have previous project management experience
Must have demonstrated the ability to provide expert level technical support, resolving complex issues.
Windows and Linux server administration, support and design is a must along with experience with Server Virtualization (VMWare) and Scripting experience
Network administration or IT security related experience is a plus
A related or other industry-related certification is a bonus
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
Requires rotational on-call with occasional night and weekend work
