Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.
Responsibilities
Position is in a Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting
Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 to 7:30)
Will float as needed to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units
Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients
Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
Must be willing to work through the New Year holiday without any requested time off
Floating to multiple units is required based on facility needs
First time travelers will be considered on a case by case basis
Strict lateness policy applies; punctuality is expected
Team-oriented environment with exposure to a high-acuity pediatric population
Requirements
Active OH State or compact RN license in hand
At least 2 years of pediatric ICU experience highly preferred
EPIC experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience strongly preferred, especially for first time travelers
Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
Cannot have been a permanent employee at the facility within the last 2 years
No local candidates; must live more than 60 miles from the facility
