Rotating shifts including days and nights; must work every other weekend with a schedule of 3x12s.

Job Description

The Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN is responsible for managing clinical and caregiving activities within the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, specifically for patients aged 14-17 years. This role requires a commitment to the nursing department's philosophy, goals, and standards while ensuring the delivery of quality care.

Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for unit operations and clinical activities.

Formulate and monitor personnel and operating budgets.

Direct staffing and scheduling of nursing personnel.

Supervise employees in delivering care and promote a cohesive team environment.

Plan and coordinate orientation and educational needs for staff.

Ensure a good working relationship with other healthcare disciplines.

Promote positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Inpatient Adolescent psychiatric experience is required.

De-escalation training/certification is required; SAFE Training Course can be attended onsite if needed.

BLS certification is required.

Ability to float to Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units as needed.
