Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position requiring BLS, ANRP, and recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts

14-week assignment

Care for laboring and high-risk obstetrical patients

No radius requirement; local and travel rates are the same

High-risk labor and delivery experience is highly valued for this position

Applicants employed as permanent staff by this health system must wait 6 months before being eligible for travel positions

There is no maximum length for assignments, but extensions beyond 12 months may have tax implications

COVID vaccination is required for consideration

Requirements

Active CA RN license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) required

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience

Five or more years of recent L&D experience and/or high-risk OB experience within the last two years preferred

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
