Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee the efficient and effective distribution of wood framing and lumber for various projects in Markle, IN, US. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining materials inventories, coordinating pre-construction meetings, managing relationships with framers, and liaising with property owners. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring adherence to project timelines and meeting quality standards.Compensation:
$65,000 - $80,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Provide on-site leadership and establish effective working relationships with the framers to help promote a positive project morale
Ability to examine the construction drawings, specifications, and addendums for design deficiencies, impractical details, value engineering, and possible code violations
Update and maintain the overall project schedule daily to ensure that the job progresses in accordance with projected completion dates
Create weekly three-week look-ahead schedules for coordination and scheduling
Complete regular walkthroughs for each project, verifying work has been completed, and communicate issues/needs to the job site superintendent and ALH
Maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project
Schedule and perform meetings with the site superintendent, which include but are not limited to the Pre-construction meetingQualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision and project management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel)
Self-sufficient
Knowledge of construction procedures and codes
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
Multi-story apartments and assisted living facilities experience a plus
Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance Coverage, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screenAbout Company
