Villa Landscaping Manager
About the Role:
The Landscaping Manager is responsible for overseeing all landscaping and grounds maintenance activities across the residential neighborhoods and individual villa gardens to ensure they meet Four Seasons standards. This role involves managing a team of landscaping staff, coordinating with vendors, planning seasonal projects, and maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the landscape throughout the property. The Landscaping Manager works closely with homeowners, the Administrative Assistant, Asset Managers, and the Residences leadership team to ensure all landscaping needs are met efficiently and to the highest quality.
What You Will Do:
· Direct and control all landscaping operations for neighborhoods and villas to ensure they are maintained to Four Seasons standards.
· Manage, train, and schedule landscaping staff to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.
· Oversee the maintenance and operation of irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality and water efficiency.
· Plan and execute seasonal planting, pruning, and landscape enhancement projects, including coordination with external vendors as needed.
· Conduct regular inspections of all landscaped areas and prepare reports summarizing conditions and required actions.
· Develop and implement action plans to address deficiencies and maintain landscaping aesthetics and health.
· Work closely with Asset Managers and the Administrative Assistant to support homeowners’ landscaping needs and ensure timely communication of services, costs, and project timelines.
· Manage procurement of landscaping materials, equipment, and supplies within approved budgets, with support from the Administrative Assistant for purchase orders, vendor coordination, and documentation.
· Ensure all landscaping activities comply with safety standards, environmental guidelines, and community covenants.
What You Will Bring:
· Minimum of five years of experience in landscaping management, horticulture, or grounds maintenance, preferably within a luxury hospitality or residential environment.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and supervisory skills, with experience managing a team and fostering employee engagement and satisfaction.
· Proven project management experience, including planning and executing seasonal landscaping initiatives and capital improvement projects.
· Strong written and oral communication skills are a plus, including the ability to communicate with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams clearly and professionally. Proficiency in using computers and related software applications is a plus (Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with landscaping maintenance software a plus).
· Knowledge of irrigation systems, tropical plant care, turf management, and sustainable landscaping practices preferred.
