What we do
The Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support.
Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest Finance teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.
What you will do
Assess, design and develop working FSCD solutions that maximize the out of the box features and minimize customizations
Communicate and interact with Process leads and in some cases the Client as part of the implementation cycle
Responsible for ongoing analysis and support of the Clients FS-CD implementation
Provide functional guidance to product owners, testing teams, compliance and other development team members
Ensure industry and technology best practices are followed for development work
Estimate the level of effort/cost of new development work
Provide analysis and troubleshooting on production issues related to FS-CD and its integration points
What we are looking for
Good functional knowledge in the areas of financial accounting within the financial services industry including basic understanding of standards for Insurance e.g. IFRS 9 and IFRS 17
Experience in SAP FSCD with very good understanding of key processes such as KCLJ, invoicing, dunning, payment plan, payment run, broker reports, payment lots, return lots, document posting, subledger account determination
Good knowledge of master data and transactions in FSCD.
Should be familiar with integration of FS-CD with SAP FI. Knowledge on integration of FS-CD with FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, FS-RI an added advantage.
Must have worked in at least one to two end-to-end SAP FSCD implementations
Techno functional experience preferred (FQEVENTS, Mass activity framework, BDT ). ABAP debugging knowledge a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication along with strong client relationship skills
Excellent time-management skills
Strong analytical mindset, structured and problem-solving skills
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, information technology, Computer Science or equivalent
