We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to manage core accounting functions with a strong focus on payroll processing. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and timely payroll execution for all employees.
This position requires full-time, on-site presence at the designated project site.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Accounting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors during audits.
Payroll Management
Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all staff.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws and government reporting.
Calculate and remit statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with HR on employee compensation changes and benefits.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Business Management, preferably CPA
At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting ang payroll
Has a good understanding of Financial and Accounting Principles
Able to multitask, prioritize, self-starter and manage time efficiently
Results oriented
Knowledgeable and experienced in Accounting Software System (PeachTree Accounting System)
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and payroll regulations
Excellent English communications skills (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an attention to detail
