Plays an instrumental role in the key planning process of the Company, namely Flow of Finished Goods. Create processes and systems to facilitate the execution of production planning (Final Pack, Pre pack, and Processing).
Core Responsibilities
Internal Processes:
Responsible for improving, mapping processes and document on Final pack, Pre-pack, and processing planning with a mindset of simplification and continuous improving.
Responsible to lead, implement, design local systems on Final pack and Pre-pack planning using new software solutions to avoid errors, reducing the workload of the team and at the same time maintaining or even growing quality on deliverables
Responsible for the creation and implementation of systems in the Processing Production Planning area focus on improve and maintain the healthy inventory in decorated elements.
External Finished Good Supplier:
Responsible to Ensure the Finished Goods inventory levels at the RDC planned in the External Finished Good site.
Attend External Finished Good Supplier Weekly Production Meeting and trigger actions in case of any deviations to put in risk to deliver on time the weekly plan.
Supervise the element's inventory at the External Finished Good supplier and be responsible for the creation of the deliveries (POs) to ensure the availability at the site.
Execute the Engineering Change Order (ECOs) for the external finished good supplier to have a proficient “roll in” of a new material that is going to become part of a Bill of Material (BOM) or a “roll out” of the old material that has been replaced, all this, when is applicable.
Other:
Responsible and own the implementation and training of Digital and /or LEGO production Planning Systems which impact the production planning area (Final pack, Pre-pack, and Processing)
Responsible to elaborate and update the GSC weekly report for LOM and for the external Finished Good Supplier
Do you have what it takes?
Experience in production planning processes including Inventory Analysis
Proven experience on VSM(Value Stream Mapping)
Experience using a digital visualization tools such as Power BI or others.
Demonstrate open and structure communication style (spoken and written)
Experience to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Experience working with SAP.
Experience in sophisticated Excel.
Experience in problem solving methodology.
Attention to detail, be creative to develop a new process based on the experience and needs.
English fluent level.
Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.
