Total Hourly Rate: $63.50/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) to join the Gynecology & Urology Oncology Unit (10 James) at the James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.
The RN will provide specialized care to adult and geriatric oncology patients diagnosed with endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to administer chemotherapy, monitor telemetry, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced, academic medical center.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, compassionate care to oncology patients on the MS/Tele unit.
Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments and clinical trial protocols.
Interpret and manage cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias.
Implement infection prevention and patient safety procedures.
Perform wound care, drain and catheter management, and neobladder care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and social workers.
Requirements
Active RN License – Compact or Ohio State License (in hand at submission)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med Surg/Telemetry
Certifications: BLS required; ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
EMR Experience: Epic required
RTO: Must be included at time of submission
Travel Experience: Preferred but not required

Float: Yes, to other MedSurg Oncology units
Orientation: 72 hours (first week dayshift)
Self-scheduling with variable weekends
