What you’ll be doing:
Act as the Configuration Manager for the Maritime Integration Support Centre (MISC).
Ensure appropriate controls are implemented, managed, and applied for material deliveries and dispatches at the MISC.
Maintain and manage accurate records in line with applicable regulations.
Ensure the safe custody and return of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) held at the facility.
Hold responsibility to the MoD for the Public Store Account (PSA).
Administer and manage the engineering change control process to ensure all proposed changes are formally controlled, and are reviewed, approved and authorised and at the correct level
Provide general facilities management support to the MISC.
Report directly to the MISC Facilities Engineering Manager.
Your skills and experiences:
Proven ability to apply and manage appropriate controls for material deliveries and dispatches, ensuring all records are accurately maintained in line with relevant regulations.
Experience in managing all aspects of GFE and responsible for the PSA, in accordance with MoD DEFCON 05-099
Strong understanding and experience in engineering change management, ensuring all change proposals are formally controlled, reviewed, authorised, and approved at the appropriate level.
Experience administering and supporting Change Control Boards (CCBs) and managing the overall change control process.
Competence in conducting quarterly PSA returns and annual audits, maintaining full compliance with MoD standards.
Ability to prepare for and support external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements.
Experience providing general facilities management support within a technical or engineering environment.

The MISC located on Portsdown Hill, is a specialist facility providing vital support for Royal Navy warships whilst researching future Combat Systems and Technologies.
