Job Description
Provide classroom support and assist students with daily academic routines as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This flexible, on-call role offers the chance to support student achievement and classroom consistency during staff absences in K–12 settings.
Required Qualifications:
Michigan Paraprofessional Certificate OR a minimum of 60 college credit hours
Classroom, daycare, or after-school experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and a student-centered approach
Ability to assist with academic and behavioral support tasks
High school diploma or GED required
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting students in daily classroom tasks and educational activities
Providing supervision during breaks, transitions, and group work
Supporting teachers with materials, classroom organization, and student monitoring
Redirecting behaviors and promoting positive student engagement
Reporting updates or concerns to instructional staff
