Job Description

An educational services provider is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide classroom and behavioral support for temporary assignments. The position helps maintain a positive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Support teachers with instruction, supervision, and classroom management

Provide one-on-one or small-group academic and behavioral assistance

Implement individualized support plans as directed

Monitor and document student performance and behavior

Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and personal-care needs

Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies

Complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to assignment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred

Prior experience as a paraprofessional, aide, or childcare provider

Strong communication, patience, and adaptability

Reliable, flexible, and professional

Must complete school fingerprinting requirements

 Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
