Job Description
Support student learning and classroom continuity as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This on-call position provides instructional and behavioral support to students in general or special education classrooms when permanent staff are unavailable.
Qualifications:
Valid Paraprofessional Certificate in Michigan OR 60 college credit hours
Background in youth services, mentoring, or tutoring preferred
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced school setting
Dependable, detail-oriented, and skilled at taking direction
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Key Tasks:
Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and supervision
Supporting students individually or in small groups
Encouraging appropriate behavior and engagement
Helping students stay organized and on-task
Monitoring student safety during classroom transitions and break times

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
