Job Description

An educational program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to assist students during temporary staff absences. The role focuses on academic and behavioral support, maintaining classroom routines, and promoting student engagement.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Assist in classroom instruction and support individual student needs

Provide guidance in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas

Monitor, document, and report student progress and behavior

Help maintain classroom structure, transitions, and safety

Follow all confidentiality and school procedural requirements

Complete fingerprinting and background clearance before assignment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education or child development a plus

Prior experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide preferred

Strong communication, patience, and observation skills

Dependable and adaptable to different classroom environments

Willingness to complete fingerprinting and background requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
