Job Description
Support students and maintain continuity in classroom environments as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This role assists with daily instructional activities and student engagement across general or special education settings.
Qualifications:
Michigan Paraprofessional Certificate OR 60 college credits
High school diploma or GED required
Classroom or childcare experience is a plus
Dependable, patient, and comfortable with diverse student needs
Effective communicator and team collaborator
Primary Duties:
Work with small groups or individual students on assignments
Monitor student safety during activities and transitions
Support classroom routines and behavioral expectations
Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and materials
Report updates to classroom teachers or school staff
This flexible position is well-suited for those who value impactful, day-to-day educational work.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
