Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a WI or compact license and strong med/surg skills for a night shift travel assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a medical-surgical intensive care unit (MSICU) with both medical and surgical patient populations
11 beds dedicated to COVID patients, separate from other patient rooms
Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
Expected to work 2 weekends out of every 4, with weekend shifts on Friday and Saturday nights
Must be willing to float to other nearby locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview
No required on-call or backup responsibilities
13-week contract assignment
Must be competent in ICU and med/surg nursing duties
Candidates should demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills
Required to work Christmas, with blackout dates for time off during this period
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be accommodated
Scrub color required is dark blue
Eligible for up to 36 hours of low census nonbillable hours during contract
Requirements
Active WI or compact RN license required
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
Med/surg and previous travel experience required
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
