Senior Manager Consolidation & Corporate Accounting

Robert Half is currently looking for a Senior Manager Consolidation & Corporate Accounting (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast-growing company in the services sector.

What will be your responsibilities?

The Senior Manager Consolidation & Corporate Accounting (m/f/x) will oversee the consolidation, preparation, and review of both stand-alone and group financial statements. You will also manage the accounts for the group's holding and financing entities and optimize cash management and treasury operations. Reporting to the Director of Reporting, Planning & Analysis, you will manage two direct reports.

Group Consolidation and Control

Oversee the consolidation and preparation of IFRS-compliant stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.

Ensure the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes are accurate and adhere to deadlines.

Prepare quarterly internal reports and EPRA metrics (industry-specific).

Provide recommendations on complex transactions and support specific IFRS processes, such as leases, share-based compensation, and pensions.

Collaborate on deferred tax calculation and reporting with the Tax Director.

Communicate with Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Legal teams on financial topics.

Manage external audits during quarterly and annual reviews.

Corporate Accounting for Holding and Financing Entities

Oversee accounting accuracy, control, and preparation of financial statements for holding and financing entities.

Supervise periodic recharges of central costs to operational companies.

Treasury

Manage the group's cash-pooling structure and ensure entities are financed properly.

Maintain relationships with banks and oversee covenants reporting.

Optimize cash utilization and ensure it is invested efficiently.

Processes and Systems

Maintain and oversee the group's consolidation software (Oracle HFM) and related IT controls.

Ensure financial records comply with policies and procedures.

Drive improvements to reporting systems and tools.

Contribute to group-wide financial management or systems development projects.

People Management

Supervise, guide, and develop the skills of two direct reports.

Set and monitor team objectives.

Are you the Senior Manager Consolidation & Corporate Accounting (m/f/x) we are looking for?

Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, consolidation, or reporting in a multinational, ideally listed company. Big 4 experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of IFRS standards with an interest in keeping up with developments.

Significant experience in consolidation processes and financial statements.

Fluent English, with French and/or Dutch skills a plus.

Advanced MS Office and Excel skills; Oracle HFM knowledge is an asset.

Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a proactive attitude.

Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure and deliver high-quality work.
