About the role:

The Health Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the fitness areas, provides guests with a fitness and Pro Shop/Recreation orientation, offers Health Club tours and can advise of Recreation Activity options. This position requires a high level of professionalism with a friendly and calm demeanor in a sometimes-demanding environment. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for providing the best-in-class service and can connect with guests by demonstrating the finer touches of luxury service.

What you will do:

Maintain cleanliness, set-ups and standards in the work out areas, tennis and sports area.

Set-up and maintain refreshments.

Monitor, clean and inspect equipment daily. Report all required repairs.

Actively greet guests, provide orientation to work out area and equipment.

Actively monitor the area and offer water and fresh towels.

Maintain security of area and report any suspicious or non-guests in area.

Ensure area is secured, inventory is completed regularly, and missing items are reported immediately.

Practice proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and mats.

Knowledgeable of resort activities and outlet hours and able to make recommendations and suggestions to suit guest preferences.

What you bring:

One to two years’ previous experience in Fitness roles; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset

Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:

• Successful candidates will be hired as a casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work: day and evening shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.
