Responsible for creating and implementing Fisher’s data-driven digital strategy, informed by analytics, that cultivates an engaged digital community. Identifies the digital needs of various stakeholders and creates the ideal, personalized digital experience for various audiences. Serves also as a digital content strategist and supports the college’s storytelling team as a content marketing thought partner as needed. Provides insight and recommendations for sponsored digital content and campaigns for various college programs and offerings, ensuring seamless marketing messaging and tracking across platforms and mediums. Analyzes web content performance and provides reports and recommendations to the Marketing and Communications team to further cultivate omnichannel strategies.
Manages and oversees the fisher.osu.edu website via the Drupal Content Management System using SEO strategies, while maintaining accessibility requirements and web best practices to inform and lead updates to pages and multimedia content; Creates new page layouts, sections, templates, and micro-sites as needed; Supports CMS users across units and departments in a distributed authorship environment to create a consistent and optimized brand experience; Identifies and prioritizes strategic improvements and innovations to the college’s website in regular collaboration with college partners;
Leads web marketing projects, partnering with the IT development team, to successfully implement website overhauls and enhancements, including leading the creation of wireframes and design for sprints of work.
Supervises support staff in a way that fosters professional growth through developmental opportunities while evaluating their performance and ensuring departmental effectiveness.
Serves as a point person to the university’s Office of Marketing and Communications for all website governance, compliance and best practice needs. Forecasts new digital trends to explore.
Additional Information:
The target hiring range for this job profile is $88,300 - $115,350. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience in a related field of study; 6 years of digital strategy and analytics expertise; web content management and UX proficiency (preferably Drupal) with hands-on experience in managing large, complex websites in a distributed authorship environment; Strong understanding of SEO, accessibility standards and web usability principles, with experience designing or refining information architecture and page layouts; Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, creativity and communications skills.
Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree; 8-12 years of relevant digital strategy, web management and analytics expertise experience preferred.
