The role will be responsible for managing a claim from the start through to settlement, making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim, and checking for any implied or hidden fraudulent activity. Is responsible to coordinate all relevant activities which may be required following both small- and large-scale accidents. Responsible as well, to manage effectively the communication with insurance companies and liaise with external experts such as loss adjusters and lawyers in order to timely investigate incidents and recovery of money from the party responsible for the loss.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze information including coverage, liability, medical records and other documents as necessary in order to resolve claims
Analyze and determine value of claim to set case reserves adequately
Monitor and update allocation of claim reserves, every time you get more information on the progress
Analyze and evaluate relevant information essential in settling complex high-value liability and bodily injury claims
Accurately record any communication or activity relevant to the claim in the claim system notes
Assess with accuracy cases related to the matrix-fraud and take the necessary actions to limit fraudulent actions
Monitor the actions taken by the partners, according to their SLA.
Manage relationships, exchanges of information and documentation with the legal counterparty and Insurance Companies
Manage paper and electronic mail, and all other key documentation necessary for the claim file (police reports etc.) in and out
Provide support and guidelines to drivers involved in accidents
Maintain and keep updated all the data related to accidents (i.e. accident reports)
Adhere to company policies and guidelines and ensure that the communication style is in line with the Ayvens' General Rules and brand identity
Qualifications and skills:
University degree will be considered as an asset
At least 3 years of experience in claims handling
Good understanding of the insurance market
Knowledge of the insurance / automotive markets
MS Office
Very good command of English language, both verbal and written
Organizational skills
Customer oriented
Results oriented
Interpersonal and negotiation skills
Be able to work in teams
