Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A well-established independent retail pharmacy in a close-knit munity is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join their team. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a pharmacy poised for growth, with plans to build a new, high-visibility location within the next 6 to 9 months. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a munity-focused environment and is fortable working as the sole pharmacist on site.
Location:
Downtown Ainsworth, NE (current location at 255 North Main Street)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
hour lunch break (1:00 PM 1:30 PM)
No weekend or evening shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations
Dispense an average of 100+ prescriptions per day
Collaborate with one pharmacy technician and one clerk on duty
Participate in the design and setup of a new pharmacy location
Ensure pliance with all regulatory requirements and medication safety protocols
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current Nebraska Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain licensure
Retail pharmacy experience preferred
Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations independently
Strong munity engagement skills; personable and dependable
Availability for virtual interviews

petitive salary range: $112,300 $166,400 (depending on experience)
Sign-on bonus of $15,000
