Position Summary: The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the store – including operations, staff management, inventory control, and financial results.
This leadership role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker who is passionate about retail, team development, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities: · Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of retail associates and department managers · Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs · Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory, merchandising, and cash handling · Ensure a consistent and outstanding customer experience · Analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions to improve performance · Recruit, train, and retain top talent · Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store compliance with company policies · Handle customer issues and escalations professionally and efficiently · Monitor expenses and manage budgets to maximize profitability Qualifications: · 3–5+ years of experience in a retail management role (General Manager, Store Manager, or similar) · Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals · Strong leadership and team development skills · Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities · Knowledge of retail software systems (POS, inventory management) · Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays · Valid drivers licence with own vehicle Please send your resume/CV
