We are seeking applicants for the position of Coordinator of Student Engagement in our Student Affairs in our Qatar Campus.
This individual will be responsible for planning and directing student development projects and programs.

Core Responsibilities include;
Student Development and Community Engagement:
Provide leadership, coordination, strategic planning, support of student engagement programs and initiatives.
Develop and maintain an innovative and comprehensive student leadership development program along with assisting in the coordination of student wraparound holistic student support.
Advise individual students, both formally and informally, concerning personal, academic, and career concerns.
Support the Student Engagement Team in developing various student-related programs and university traditions. Contribute to the planning, marketing, and budgeting for large-scale events. May supervise student volunteers and planning committees.
Collaborate with the Student Engagement Team to develop leadership workshops and trainings for students across different stages of the undergraduate career.
Contribute to the efforts of the Student Affairs team. Engage in university outreach events such as Marhaba Tartans, support graduation and convocation ceremonies.
Serve as Student Affairs liaison in partner university committees to advocate, advance, and coordinate on behalf of CMU-Q in Education City program development.
Student Activities Coordination:
Serves as a lead for implementing our Campus Groups platform to help develop workflows and event management processes for student club events and Student Affairs programs.
Supervise and support six athletic teams by serving as the university focal point for court reservations, managing engagement in EC sports leagues and assisting with sports team oversight.
Coordinate the planning, marketing and implementation of the intramural sport program and promote holistic health through collaborations with Director of Health and Wellness and student clubs.
Develop a social media marketing plan for increasing student engagement and attendance at events and workshops.
Serve as a resource and advisor to student organizations, offering guidance and training on leadership development, event planning, budgeting and organizational management.
Maintain accurate records of student events including event proposals, budgets, contacts, contracts, media/publicity, and evaluations.
Serve as the Student Affairs representative on the campus Events Committee, along with department stakeholders from the Dean’s Office, Facilities Management, Information Technology, and Marketing and Public Relations, to review, approve, coordinate schedule, and support all student-organized events.
Provide consultation and feedback to student event organizers, in terms of university policies and procedures, event planning, applicable student club processes, email list communications, and purchases.
