The district will hire 2 - 3 on-call positions On-call, part time work scheduled as needed to support performing arts centers' events.
Hours vary, typically includes nights and weekends, may include daytime hours.
Hours worked will depend on the number and length of events at the Performing Arts Centers, and the level of expertise of the technician.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Theater Technician will set up, operate, troubleshoot and strike technical system for theater event, including lighting systems, sound systems, rigging systems and visual systems.
Theater Technicians will act as a mentor to any student crew present and will be required to supervisor and train student crew.
Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
Time sheet will be required for pay Qualifications/Education and Experience: * 3 years of technical theater experience preferred.
* Must have reliable transportation for all work hours and locations.
* Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the attached job description for this position.
