Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to work onsite at our client’s headquarters in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Position Summary
We are looking for a sourcing professional with strong RFP sourcing experience, along with hands-on experience redlining and negotiating contracts.
This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to lead sourcing events with multiple stakeholders, primarily for technology-based software and hardware solutions.
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in developing sourcing strategies to support the procurement of labor, services, materials, and equipment. You’ll apply proven negotiation techniques, manage supplier relationships, ensure contract compliance, and help drive category management strategies that align with company goals.
Essential Job Functions
Procure goods and services with high-value or complex requirements.
Assess business needs and develop procurement plans that align with project and departmental goals.
Execute sourcing strategies based on category manager guidance and industry best practices.
Support Category Managers in the development and execution of category strategies.
Conduct market, supplier, and spend analyses to inform sourcing decisions and competitive RFX solicitations.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams during sourcing events and evaluations.
Develop negotiation strategies and lead contract negotiations, including redlining and risk management.
Draft and finalize contracts outlining pricing, performance criteria, and business requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and suppliers to support ongoing sourcing strategies.
Ensure alignment between procurement, Service Center, and customer support operations.
Oversee delivery, transportation, and storage logistics for high-value equipment and materials.
Manage contract compliance, including price adjustments, credit programs, and replacement terms.
Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing contract value and supplier performance.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field; or 6 years of relevant equivalent experience. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in RFP sourcing, contract negotiation, and redlining.
Experience in supply chain category management within the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry is preferred.
