Procurement Consultant

MEOGROUP Belgium is an operational excellence consulting group specializing primarily in Procurement & Supply Chain.

We are looking for a Procurement Consultant (3-8 years' seniority) with experience in purchasing electronic and electrical components.

This consultant role to be filled is a permanent position within our teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Management of the Electronics/Electrical category (sensors, electronic cards, assembled cards, wiring, etc.) in an industrial environment.

Management of complex procurement.

Carry out activities such as analyzing processes, establishing relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, conducting diagnostic activities, preparing plans for successful strategy execution, measuring KPIs, etc.

Support contract management.

Able to manage any tendering process from start to finish.

Monitor suppliers based on their risk profile and classification, and establish action plans where necessary.

Contribute to the improvement of purchasing processes.

Profil:

Master's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

Between 3 and 8 years of experience as a Technical Buyer in an industrial environment.

Experienced in purchasing PCBs/PCBAs and other electronic components is a plus.

English, French AND/OR Dutch is mandatory.

Very good communication.

Negotiation skills.

ERP expertise.
