Systems Engineer

I'm currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to work with a client of mine based in Belgium.

Some key information about the opportunity is as follows:

Rate: €400-€500 per day

Duration: 12 months

Location: Walloon Region, Belgium

The Role:

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to support new projects. This role is pivotal in formalising requirements and coordinating activities for system design and development.

Responsibilities

Analyse customer needs and stakeholder constraints

Coordinate activities for system verification and validation

Contribute to systems engineering tools deployment and management

Assist in drafting requirements specifications and updating reference documents

Conduct functional systems analysis and safety analysis

Participate in system modelling activities using SysML

Stay updated on INCOSE recommendations and relevant standards

Prepare and deliver presentations related to systems engineering activities

Essential Skills & Experience

Degree in Engineering or relevant experience with an Electronics focus

Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

Proficiency in English

Flexibility for occasional international travel

Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, and Matlab Simulink tools

Experience in the Defence or Aerospace sector is advantageous

Desirable Skills & Experience

Familiarity with Electro-Mechanical Control Systems

Advanced knowledge of Matlab Simulink and IBM Rational DOORS/Rhapsody

Fluent in French and English
