Summary/Objective The Director, Inside Sales is responsible for leading and integrating the company's commercial functions to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational alignment.
This role provides strategic oversight of customer operations, outsourced marketing, sales and operations planning, pricing governance, and customer service.
By ensuring coordination across commercial functions, the Director advances profitability, strengthens customer relationships, and enables scalable, data-driven decision making.

* Lead the company's integrated commercial functions, including customer operations, marketing oversight, sales forecasting, pricing, and customer service.
* Develop and implement a formal Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to improve forecasting accuracy, demand planning, and resource alignment.
* Oversee the company's outsourced marketing firm, ensuring brand consistency, campaign effectiveness, and alignment to business objectives.
* Establish pricing strategy and governance processes, balancing competitiveness and profitability across customers and markets.
* Provide dotted-line leadership to plant customer service functions, ensuring standardized practices, clear escalation paths, and consistent customer experience.
* Partner with sales, operations, finance, and supply chain to resolve customer issues and align commercial strategies with operational capabilities.
* Monitor and analyze key commercial KPIs (forecast accuracy, service levels, pricing realization, marketing ROI), presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships, representing the company externally and driving customer-centric initiatives.
* Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, leveraging CRM tools, data analytics, and automation to increase efficiency and decision quality.
* Develop and mentor direct reports and other commercial leaders to build a strong talent pipeline.
* Represent the commercial function in enterprise initiatives, aligning with corporate strategy, risk management, and long-term growth objectives.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
This position will occasionally require extended hours and/or weekend work.
Travel Up to 50% travel required, including customer visits, plant support, and industry events.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in progressive commercial, sales or operations experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and driving growth initiatives.
* Experience managing forecasting, pricing, and marketing strategies.
* Strong financial acumen and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Education, Qualifications, and Experience * MBA or advanced degree in Business or related field.
* Experience in manufacturing or B2B industrial markets.
* Track record of implementing S&OP processes or commercial excellence programs.
