Investment Director Head of C&I Investments (Renewables)

The firm is seeking a dynamic Investment Director – Renewables to lead and execute transactions across the fast-evolving renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities

Originate, structure, and execute investments in renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, and bioenergy.

Lead all phases of deal execution — due diligence, valuation, negotiations, structuring, and closing.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, utilities, corporates, financial sponsors, and advisors.

Monitor portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance to enhance operational and financial performance.

Present and defend investment opportunities to the Investment Committee and senior stakeholders.

Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations shaping the clean energy landscape.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in renewable energy investment, infrastructure private equity, or energy M&A.

Proven track record of leading and closing complex transactions in the renewables sector.

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and structuring capabilities.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Deep understanding of the regulatory, technical, and commercial dynamics of renewable energy projects.

Native-level fluency or full professional proficiency in German (written and spoken).

Advanced degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
