Senior Process Associate - Accounting and Finance

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, looking for a Senior Process Associate - Accounting and Finance for a leading finacial services company based in Colombo. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound accounting knowledge, and a keen eye for process improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with accounting standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting principles.

Review and analyze financial data to identify variances and provide insights for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Assist in audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation.

Support automation and process optimization initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or shared services (preferably within the financial services industry).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
