Night Shift: Friday to Sunday, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality care in a community hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills in respiratory and neuro diagnostics, with experience in various clinical settings including the NICU.

Responsibilities

Administer aerosol treatments, including setup for masks and tracheostomies.

Perform medication delivery and management for various respiratory therapies.

Provide care for patients with complex respiratory conditions, including ARDS, pneumonia, and COVID-19.

Manage ventilation and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Assist in intubation and application of supportive respiratory measures in neonates and pediatrics.

Conduct arterial blood gas analyses and interpret results to inform clinical decisions.

Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

3 years of experience in respiratory care, with community hospital experience required.

Certifications: RRT, CRT, BLS, and ACLS preferred.

Able to provide neonatal and pediatric critical care.

State Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
