Requirements
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, such as brake and suspension work, wheel alignments, and fluid changes.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately.
Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer specifications.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates for services.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary automotive training is a plus.
Proven experience as an automotive technician, particularly in electrical and electronic systems.
ASE certification or equivalent is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
