This position plays a key role in the infection control program of the facility.\n Benefits:\n\nComprehensive health insurance - medical, dental and vision\n401K with matching funds\nDailyPay, a voluntary benefit that allows associates at our facilities the ability to access their pay when they need it\nPaid time off (beginning after six months of employment) and paid holidays\nFlexible scheduling\nTuition reimbursement and student loan forgiveness\nZero cost uniforms\n\n Responsibilities:\n\nSupervise all housekeeping and laundry aides.\nDevelop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility.\nAssure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations.\nMaintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products.\nComplies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances.\nDevelop and oversee staffing and supply budgets.\nPrepare and submit reports as requested.\nAssure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions.\nAttend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.\n\n Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum or two (2) years housekeeping experience in an institutional environment\n\n Ciena Healthcare:\n We are a national organization of skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitative, and assisted living providers dedicated to achieving the highest standards of care in five states including Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, and Indiana.\n We serve our residents with compassion, concern, and excellence, believing that every one of them is a unique person who deserves our best each day that we care for them.
