Qualifications:
- Preschool through Grade 3 Certification
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped Certifications
- Preschool Experience Preferred
Preferred:
Tools of the Mind curriculum training and experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide coordination and leadership of the classroom
Demonstrate an understanding of current best practices in the teaching of preschool age students.
Deliver quality differentiated instruction that aligns with our district curriculum.
Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications as per student IEP.
Monitor, assess, record, and report on student growth/progress.
Collaborate with district professionals for student and staff growth.
Plan, prepare and collaborate on lessons that engage students in rich interaction following the Tools of the Mind program.
Strong parent communication skills Salary: BA, Step 1
