Description

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Winthrop University seeks applications for individuals who can serve as an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish, to teach all levels of Spanish language and culture classes. Successful candidates must have a Master's degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish, be eligible to work in the United States, and successfully clear a background check. Previous teaching experience at the university level is strongly preferred.

The position is available January 13, 2025 and will be available as enrollment demands require. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• M.A. in Spanish

• Minimum of 18 credit hours at the graduate level in Spanish

o Previous teaching experience at the university level is strongly preferred.
