Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards
Other duties as assigned by manager
Job Requirements
Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver’s license
At least one year of crane and hoist experience
Must be ok with some out of town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay. Other branches include:
Indiana: Ft Wayne and Indianapolis
Ohio: Cincinnati
Kentucky: Louisville
Must be able to work in elevated areas
Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
